Restore a purchase

One Chess is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID. If you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone, open the app, go to About, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy.

Trial & one-time unlock

One Chess is free for 7 days, then a single $4.99 USD purchase unlocks it forever on your Apple ID. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.

Promo codes

If you have a promo code, redeem it through Apple's code-redemption sheet from inside the app. Apple handles all billing; we never see your payment details.

Online play & your display name

In online games, the display name you chose during onboarding is sent to our game server and shown to your opponent — including anyone you share a game link with. We recommend you do not use your real name. You can change your display name in the app's settings. Finished online games are deleted from our server 90 days after they end. See our privacy policy for details.

Delete your data

Deleting the app from your iPhone wipes all local data immediately. To request deletion of server-side records, email the address above with your purchase date or trial-start date so we can locate the row.

Troubleshooting

If the app crashes or the engine misbehaves, force-quit and relaunch first. To help us fix crashes, you can opt in to "Share with App Developers" under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. We use crash data only to fix bugs and run no third-party tracking.
